			Born in Dayglow, New California, McCay was the child of scrappers who broke down salvage from the nearby West Tek Research Facility. Advanced technology became something of a fascination for her and she went north to the Boneyard to study under and eventually join the Followers of the Apocalypse. Though really geared more towards medical study, the Followers recognized her talent and she earned a place of distinction as something of a pre-war technology wizard, especially with computing. When word reached the Boneyard that there was a treasure trove of advanced network systems waiting to be dissected in Seattle, their choice of delegate was obvious.
